Unfamiliar Love . . .

It’s an unfamiliar love that stays with me,

Dancing memories that bend my knees,

Knowing you are there my gentle dove,

And all I want is your warm sweet love.

Many feelings I have felt in the adventures of life,

But these I have for you cause me great strife,

Not knowing who or what or where you are,

I wonder my attachment while gazing at the stars.

It’s an unfamiliar love that stays with me,

Dancing memories that bend my knees,

Knowing you are there my gentle dove,

And all I want is your warm sweet love.

Rushing tides sweep the sands of the beach,

My ongoing search for you remains out of reach,

Your eyes, your hair, your soft gentle touch,

Dwells within the confines of my mind so much.

It’s an unfamiliar love that stays with me,

Dancing memories that bend my knees,

Knowing you are there my gentle dove,

And all I want is your warm sweet love

I might never know just who you may be,

You could be close at hand or across the sea,

Our paths may never touch or come to pass,

But I know my love towards you will forever last.

It’s an unfamiliar love that stays with me,

Dancing memories that bend my knees,

Knowing you are there my gentle dove,

And all I want is your warm sweet love.
